Natural selection sends sidewalk surfers back to the sea with this, the 3rd Tony Hawk custom PUSH.
Billions of years ago, a small sect of surfboards abandoned the sea to the arid landscapes of urban Los Angeles spreading epidemically to all corners of the super continent in the form of primordial skateboards. We now witness as the Darwinian forerunners double back to the littoral (intertidal) zone as super-evolved PUSH and Recycled Skate Deck Fins (commonly known as a 2013 take on the mini planning hull with bad-ass Birdhouse Skateboards ‘Eye of the Falcon’ graphic and custom twin keels shaped from said Birdhouse skate deck).
As with our prior two customs for Tony, this one of a kind skate-surfer, surf-skater is headed to the auction block at the Tony Hawk Foundation’s Stand up for Skateparks charity event where it will likely meet its fate as a wall hanger somewhere between the street and the sea.
We are super proud to build this rad one-of-a-kind board in support of an equally rad organization & cause. Check out www.tonyhawkfoundation.org to learn more about the Tony Hawk Foundation and their work to improve the lives of at risk youth.
